Set up success from the start by following these 10 steps
Set clear expectations from the event coordinator
Negotiate extra marketing for your business before paying the vendor fee. (Facebook posts, shoutouts the day of)
NEVER STAND BEHIND THE TABLE!! Bring something that engages people to come to you, this could be a roll the dice game, a wheel, or swag bag!
Always have 2 people there! The rush normally happens all at once and you don’t want someone to think you’re ignoring them.
Send a talkative person!!!! You need someone to initiate the conversation because 9 times out of 10 customers will not come up to you.
ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS do a giveaway!!!!!!!!! This helps you capture customer information that you can put into your database.
Show up early and show up looking good!
Be authentic genuine and connect with people organically! A compliment ALWAYS starts up a conversation.
Never ask closed-ended questions!!
Be sure you have enough business cards & swag for your event!
